Kay's Naturals honored with food industry's 2011 Trailblazer Award

Clara City, MN: Kay's Naturals, producer of gluten-free, diabetes-friendly, high-protein diet foods, has been named a 2011 Trailblazer Award winner in the January, 2011 issue of Grocery Headquarters Magazine.

The magazine commented specifically on Kay's Naturals' advances in innovating “nutritious and appetizing foods to replace empty, high-calorie junk foods.” With an existing line of 12 products and three more slated for release next month, Kay's Naturals' market share is experiencing marked growth.

“We’ve looked at what was available in the market and found an urgent need for diabetes-friendly snacks, cereals and cookies that are truly delicious,” says company founder and food scientist Dr. Massoud Kazemzadeh. “With diabetes and obesity rising at alarming rates, we need better food options in the marketplace.
